Bourbon Review: Bond & Lillard Batch 2

The American Medicinal Spirts Co. - Straight Bourbon Whiskey - 100 proof

This particular bourbon is tough to find any sourced information on, although the consensus seems to be that this batch had direct input from Eddie Russel (Wild Turkey). Neat!

“In 1869 William E. Bond & Christopher C. Lillard partnered to create a golden, delicate style of Kentucky bourbon.”

“It’s really dark in here, so I had to smell it to know where I was...“

Back to bourbon! We took a chance on Bond & Lillard, which we knew almost nothing about, and gave it the ole review. We’re both pretty happy with the gamble… even if it is a little pricey. The juice was fairly complex and very tasty. Plus, it’s one of those “exclusive” drams that are cool to talk about. Per the usual, we look at five different categories in our own terms: Bottle, Appearance, Smell, Value, and Taste.
