Bourbon Review: Joseph Magnus OHLQ Pick #1376

Jos. A. Magnus & Co. - Straight Bourbon Whiskey - 107.32 proof

"More than 125 years after the doors to his distillery were first opened, his whiskies are still heralded as the most remarkable spirits for the most remarkable people".

"Although pricey, the exclusivity of this bourbon makes it worth it. Very tasty even at that price point".

"Ohio Liquor recently partnered with Joseph Magnus and Master Blender Nancy Fraley to hand select nine very special single barrels from our 13-year old private stock to be distributed throughout Ohio".

Ohio Liquor (OHLQ) selected and released 9 barrels of Joseph Magnus made available exclusively to Ohio, and with all single barrels, each barrel has its own unique differences. The bottle Ian was able to get his hands on was from Barrel #1376, bottle 126 of 160. We had a great time on this review and we really enjoyed this bourbon. Its sweet and spicy and creamy and incredibly complex, although those descriptors come after having had several more pours of this exclusive juice. Per the usual, we look at 5 different categories in our own terms: Bottle, Appearance, Smell, Value, and Taste.
