Bourbon Review: Maker's Mark 46 Cask Strength
Maker's Mark Distillery - Straight Bourbon Whiskey - 109.6 proof

"The Maker’s Mark you know today is made just as it was when we filled our first bottle".
When the son of Bill and Margie took over as president in 1975, his father's only words of advice to Bill Samuels, Jr., were "Don't screw up the whisky."
"We've done a couple Maker's Private or Limited selections, and we have not been disappointed".
Steve happened upon a bottle of Makers Mark 46 Cask Strength and we absolutely had to save it for a review. We’re both super high on this juice, from the nose to the super complex finish. We had a ton of fun with this one and will be looking for a backup relentlessly while we continue to enjoy this “party in your mouth”. Per the usual, we look at five different categories in our own terms: Bottle, Appearance, Smell, Value, and Taste. Enjoy the review, drop us a comment and make sure you subscribe to our podcast, YouTube, like us on Facebook and Instagram.
Bottle: “It's a good shape. I love the classic Maker's wax" - Steve
Appearance: “It's got a good color to it... maybe a rust" - Ian
Smell: “You know in trail mix those squared pieces of dried fruit?“ – Ian
Value: $60 bucks or so retail
Taste :“Interesting. So many different levels... it's smooth, then it gets hot, it mellows out, then comes back again” - Steve
