Bourbon Review: Redwood Empire Pipedream
Redwood Empire Distillery- Bourbon Whiskey - 90 proof

For every bottle sold, Redwood Empire Distillery plants a tree. According to their website, they have planted more than 185,000 trees to date!
“Named for the 14th tallest tree on the planet, Pipe Dream is our first Bourbon whiskey.” - Redwood Empire
“There's just no.... (Grunts) whiskey taste to it...“
Starting #2021 bourbon reviews off with a completely unknown! Grabbed this at the local liquor store based on a stranger’s recommendation. While the company seems to have a cool story, and certainly promising future, we were not exactly blown away by Redwood Empire’s Pipedream. It was fine for sipping (or chugging?), but we were definitely left wanting more. Per the usual, we look at five different categories in our own terms: Bottle, Appearance, Smell, Value, and Taste.
