Bourbon Review: Smoke Wagon Unfiltered Uncut (batch 29)

Nevada Distilling Co. - Straight Bourbon Whiskey - 115.78 proof

Smoke Wagon is actually old west slang for the 1873 Colt single action army revolver or "the gun that won the west"

There is a delicate balance between creamy mouthfeel, tannins and sugars that comes into play that makes the end result magical."

“It's dessert! And I like dessert a lot...“

Part 2 of #wittermanseason had a bottle of the super popular Smokewagon bourbon. Jay brought us a bottle of the “Uncut & Unfiltered” expression. While this was not necessarily what we expected, man is it good! A little on the sweet side, with an incredible mouthfeel and deep finish. After trying this, we definitely want to get our hands on some of their other offerings. Per the usual, we look at five different categories in our own terms: Bottle, Appearance, Smell, Value, and Taste.
