Cocktail Review: Pub Frato Black Walnut Manhattan

Pub Frato Gastropub - Concord Twp, OH - Bourbon Manhattan

Pub Frato has been named Best Gastropub in Cleveland 2 years in a row by Cleveland Magazine and the Arthritis Foundation's Silver Spoon Awards.

"Listen I'm a fan... I'm gonna get me at least one more of these!"

“Sweet but not syrupy... It doesn't stick with you.“

Fall is here and we decided to change it up a bit! We hung out at Pub Frato Gastropub and had our guy Paulie mix us up a couple of Black Walnut Manhattans! Were not as experienced in the cocktail world, but these were absolutely delicious! Made with Woodford Reserve bourbon, black walnut bitters, Antica vermouth, and garnished with a Luxardo cherry, this handcrafted cocktail was mixed to perfection. This was more difficult to review, but we looked at four different categories in our own terms: Appearance, Smell, Value, and Taste. Appearance: “Nice and cold... nice Manhattan-y color” – Ian

Smell: “Smells sweet, as it should.“ – Steve

Value: $10 bucks on special, normally $11

Taste : “You know those little chocolate covered cherries?” - Steve

Ian: 8.7

Steve: 8.5
