Whiskey Review: Little Book Chapter 4- Lessons Honored

James B. Beam Distilling Co. - Blended Whiskey - 122.8 proof

Lessons Honored includes a 4-year-old Kentucky straight brown rice bourbon, an 8-year-old Kentucky straight high-rye rye whiskey and a 7-year-old Kentucky straight bourbon.

“This year’s release is an ode to my dad and the lessons he has passed down to me about bourbon and life, all of which I hope to pass down to my own children,” says Freddie Noe.

“What a hug... Not a slap in the face, good long finish on this one.“

We didn’t score a ton of special releases this year, but we did get a bottle of Little Book Chapter 4: Lessons Learned. We sat down in studio and gave this a pour and we were both blown away. This blend of Straight Kentucky Bourbon, Straight Kentucky Rye Whiskey, and Kentucky Brown Rice Bourbon is fantastic! From presentation to that ridiculous finish, we absolutely love this whiskey! Per the usual, we look at five different categories in our own terms: Bottle, Appearance, Smell, Value, and Taste.
