Whiskey Review: Michter's Rye Single Barrel
Michter's Distillery - Straight Rye Whiskey - 84.8 proof

Michter’s is proud to honor a historical legacy tracing back to the founding of America’s first whiskey company in 1753.
"Renowned for rye – America’s oldest whiskey variety – since the earliest days of our history, we take the production of Michter’s US1 Kentucky Straight Rye extremely seriously."
“It's so different from what we're used to drinking, and not in a bad way“
Another F-RYE-Day recording for us as we pour some Michters Rye Single Barrel to review. Look, we’re really starting to enjoy rye whiskeys, and this juice is no exception. We had a really good time giving this a shot, and although we haven’t quite refined our rye grain notes, we both really enjoyed everything about this whiskey. The nose is incredibly pleasant, has a wonderful mouthfeel, and an easy but nice finish. Per the usual, we look at five different categories in our own terms: Bottle, Appearance, Smell, Value, and Taste.
